Join TMEIC Corporation Americas as a Project Application Engineer – Industrial Systems in Roanoke, VA, where you will play a pivotal role in defining project system requirements and developing specifications for our cutting-edge Industrial Systems projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with mechanical OEMs and end-users to develop detailed system specifications for drive, motor, transformer, switchgear, sensor, and automation equipment suppliers.
- Ensure all systems meet client requirements as outlined in project contracts, maintaining quality designs and timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough power system studies to validate that the new equipment meets all global and local utility standards.
- Evaluate supplier proposals to identify the most technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage equipment costs and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Prepare timely purchase specifications and ERP requisitions to support project timelines.
- Facilitate detailed design reviews with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Provide consistent technical guidance to ensure all project requirements are satisfied.
- Assist clients in specifying solutions for technology challenges, driving business opportunities for TMEIC.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, mechanical OEMs, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
- Deliver presentations at technical conferences and client meetings to showcase our solutions.
- Identify new applications and products to foster business growth and explore new markets.
- Provide project management services as assigned.
