As a Project Contract Administrator at Griffith University, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of our infrastructure initiatives. This includes overseeing the development of a state-of-the-art nine-storey flagship building that aligns with the forward-looking vision of the Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. Additionally, you will manage a diverse array of projects aimed at enhancing the campus environment through accessibility improvements and sustainability efforts, such as the installation of solar panels across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support throughout the tendering, contract establishment, and management lifecycle, which encompasses preparing and processing Payment Certificates, Variation Claims, and Extension of Time requests.
- Oversee project financial controls by establishing purchase orders in PeopleSoft, reconciling transactions, adjusting expenditure allocations, and ensuring timely calculation and payment of statutory registrations and levies in compliance with legislative requirements.
- Ensure meticulous maintenance of contract documentation and project records in both PeopleSoft and Project Online, monitor compliance with established procedures and contractual obligations, and escalate any instances of non-compliance.

You will also possess:
- Demonstrated expertise in construction contract administration processes and related financial procedures.
- Direct, recent experience in managing construction contracts.
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency in systems, including experience with enterprise finance systems and reconciliations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation, compliance requirements, and competing deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with, or a willingness to learn, PeopleSoft and Project Management Software.
What We Offer
This is a full-time, fixed-term position concluding on April 9, 2027, primarily based at Griffith University’s Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As we are a multi-campus institution, you may be required to work at various locations.

Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary is HEW Level 5.1, amounting to $79,705 per annum plus 17% superannuation, resulting in a total FTE package of $93,254 per annum.
