Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize company financial systems to deliver cost data in necessary formats for project control.
- Achieve expertise in cornerstone systems used by the company.
- Evaluate the financial implications of various project activities using financial terminology and metrics.
- Assist in financial data analysis to identify critical project challenges.
- Leverage drawings and specifications to establish project baseline data.
- Enhance understanding of accounting principles relevant to project management.
- Contribute to data assembly for trending and forecasting purposes.
- Analyze progress trends and their cost implications.
- Participate in the review and approval process for contractor invoices.
- Gather and analyze data related to manpower, labor hours, and costs against budget constraints.
- Monitor actual costs against funding limitations.
- Support tracking of purchase orders and subcontract commitments.
- Assist in the development of baseline budgets.
- Facilitate the project reporting process.
- Engage in project cost review meetings.
- Compile data for procedural development.
- This position requires 50% domestic travel to client sites within the New York City, Newark, and Jersey City metropolitan areas.
- Telecommuting is allowed 2-3 days per week within the New York City, Newark, and Jersey City metropolitan area.
