ProSidian is actively seeking a skilled Project Controls Cost Estimator (PR0130) to join our team in support of a critical engagement with the US Department of Energy (DOE) at Hanford. This is a full-time (W-2) position, ideal for candidates with extensive experience in Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure sectors, particularly within Nuclear and Environmental domains.
The selected candidate will collaborate with the ProSidian team to meet the requirements of the Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Order (TO). This role involves providing essential cost estimating functions necessary for the startup and commissioning of the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Project's Low Activity Waste (LAW), Balance of Facilities (BOF), Laboratory (LAB), and planning for the High-Level Waste (HLW) facility. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Developing Independent Government Cost Estimates and conducting technical evaluations for current and future WTP contract modifications.
- Conducting Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) cost analyses and supporting technical assessments.
- Collaborating with DOE EM HQ and DOE MA HQ on necessary technical evaluations.
- Assisting in the development and updates of the DOE-WTP Cost Estimating Manual.
- Creating and maintaining WPD Cost Estimating procedures and protocols.
- Ensuring deliverables align with ORP procedures and directives from the WPD Division Director.
