Key Responsibilities:Lead solid waste-related site development projects, including master planning, design drawings, stormwater management, erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Prepare comprehensive reports and studies to facilitate project permitting.Draft scopes for conceptual and engineering packages.Guide projects from initial concept through to construction.Support in the preparation of project proposals.Collaborate with and mentor team members as necessary.Prepare preliminary engineering reports.Conduct and review detailed calculations such as stormwater management, leachate generation, pipe sizing, slope stability, and compaction density.Produce high-quality project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.Assist clients with construction procurement and provide bidding and construction administration services.Manage project budgets and timelines efficiently.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.5-10 years of relevant experience.Preferred: Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) on the path to becoming a PE.Project management experience is a plus.A minimum of 4 years in civil engineering, focusing on solid waste, land development, or closely related projects.Exceptional communication skills in oral, graphic, and written forms.Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with project teams, clients, regulators, and contractors.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Willingness to travel to project sites and work remotely as needed.Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D.A collaborative team player passionate about engineering and project management.
