Job Overview
Jensen Hughes is looking for a detail-oriented Project Financial Analyst to join our Project Financial Department. This prominent position, reporting directly to a Project Financial Manager, focuses on enhancing the financial performance of global projects. As a business advisor to operations, senior management, and executive leadership, you will play a vital role in achieving project success. Key responsibilities include providing financial advisory services, ensuring transactional excellence, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze contracts to verify accurate system setup for revenue recognition, billing, and delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to provide financial support for projects.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition, invoicing, and collections based on contractual agreements.
- Manage project-specific financial elements such as unbilled amounts, backlog, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee month-end close processes for assigned projects, including revenue and accounts receivable management.
- Discuss monthly financial results with the Project Financial Manager before revenue closure.
- Review monthly financial outcomes with Project Managers in regular meetings.
- Support the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
