Your Role
As a Project Manager reporting to the Program Manager, you will oversee the complete management, coordination, and delivery of assigned projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. You will be responsible for constant communication and expectation management with clients and stakeholders. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will provide routine updates and ad hoc reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate project setup upon award and estimate handoff, ensuring an efficient team structure, budget alignment, documentation, and systems are in place for effective project kickoff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive project execution plan, including milestone schedules, critical path analysis, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely project deliverables.
- Administer project changes following established change management procedures, documenting all scope, schedule, and cost impacts for client and team communication.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including the project execution plan, risk register, schedule, health and safety plan, quality plan, and all mandated documentation by Rising Edge.
- Monitor and control project financial performance, ensuring compliance with approved budgets and alignment of man-hour projections with actual performance.
- Oversee and coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure prompt processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable to support project operations.
