Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a results-oriented Project Manager who possesses a robust technical background in Cisco networking, virtualization, Windows environments, and data center technologies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the complete delivery of intricate IT infrastructure projects, serving as the key coordinator among engineering teams, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Spearhead full project lifecycles by defining scope, establishing timelines, managing budgets, and identifying risk mitigation strategies.
- Technical Delivery Oversight:
- Expertise in Cisco networking technologies: Catalyst, Meraki, Nexus, ASA/Firepower, ISE, SD-WAN.
- Proficient in virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Experience with data center operations: Cisco UCS, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), disaster recovery, and business continuity planning (BCP).
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between internal IT teams, business units, and external vendors, enhancing communication and collaboration.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, security policies, documentation standards, and KPI tracking.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of:
- Cisco networking technologies and architectures.
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Windows Server ecosystem (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, etc.).
- Data center operations and technologies.
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
- Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- VMware VCP, Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
