As a vital part of our engineering and specialist team, you will report to the Activity Manager and contribute to the development and design of industrial and nuclear systems and installations.
In your role as Project Manager - Industrial Design, you will lead studies, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of design phases, culminating in a smooth transition to industrialization.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
Design Study Management
Lead and coordinate all design phases (Sketch, Preliminary Design, Final Design).
Analyze client needs and formulate functional and technical specifications.
Ensure consistency between functional design, technical design, and project requirements.
Facilitate design reviews and validate proposed solutions.
Project Coordination
Act as the interface among various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, safety, HVAC, fluids, operations, maintenance…).
Manage suppliers, design offices, partners, and subcontractors involved in the design phases.
Organize and lead project meetings, coordinate exchanges, and ensure the flow of reliable and up-to-date information.
Time, Cost, and Quality Management
Develop and monitor the study schedule, ensuring adherence.
Participate in cost estimation, consolidate, and monitor the budget for studies.
Implement reporting tools, track indicators, and anticipate risks (technical, organizational, contractual).
Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and compliance with standards/regulations.
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and analyze design-related risks; propose and manage mitigation actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, operational, security, and regulatory requirements.
Verify the integration of field and operational constraints into the design.
Documentation & Validation
Oversee the production and consistency of technical deliverables (plans, calculation notes, analyses, design dossiers).
Ensure the quality and compliance of documents sent to internal/external clients.
Contribute to the preparation of presentations for reviews.
