We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Municipal and Transportation Design team at our Burlington or Mississauga, ON offices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Design Team to apply your technical and project management skills in leading, planning, designing, and tendering various municipal and transportation infrastructure projects within a dynamic team setting.
Our hybrid work model offers flexibility in working hours, with the position primarily based out of our Burlington office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee transportation projects on local, collector, or arterial roads for various municipal clients throughout Ontario, managing schedules, budgets, cost control processes, quality assurance, and work procedures.
- Lead design and contract preparation for urban/rural road construction and reconstruction projects, including local and regional roads, environmental assessments, water mains, storm and sanitary sewers, etc.
- Supervise project-specific designs, providing guidance to technical staff, liaising with clients, conducting technical document reviews, preparing project specifications, and addressing engineering challenges.
- Coordinate with government and regulatory/environmental authorities to facilitate project permit approvals.
- Maintain and enhance existing business relationships while driving business development activities, including identifying and pursuing new marketing and client opportunities.
