Join VetsEZ as a dynamic Project Manager, where you will spearhead Agile software development teams dedicated to advancing DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This pivotal role encompasses comprehensive management of projects from inception to delivery, ensuring collaboration across various cross-functional teams on extensive initiatives and intricate program components.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of application and system projects, from initial intake to successful delivery, utilizing the SAFe DevSecOps framework.
- Lead Agile Scrum teams, driving product development and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical leads to enhance CI/CD pipelines and modernize infrastructure.
- Develop and manage project timelines using Agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Deliver consistent updates on project milestones, risks, dependencies, and necessary escalations.
- Articulate project vision, strategy, roadmaps, and scheduled deliverables to VA leadership and stakeholders.
- Engage with VA leadership and stakeholders to synchronize priorities and efficiently manage project dependencies and risks across the portfolio.
- Facilitate and coordinate services to support large-scale enterprise projects.
- Work closely with VA stakeholders and internal teams to craft and communicate effective implementation strategies.
- Contribute to team goals and embrace additional responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a proven track record in risk identification and mitigation.
- Extensive experience leading complex IT projects within Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Proficient in tracking project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional skills in translating project activities into executive-level communications and presentations.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
