About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of large-scale renewable energy projects (100 MW+), managing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. This leadership position demands exceptional technical expertise, superior stakeholder management skills, and a proven history of delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and all internal and external stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies that align with project goals and requirements.
- Inspire and guide cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Exercise financial oversight, control costs, conduct analyses, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage all aspects of permitting, licensing, regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, investors, local communities, and partners.
- Promote a culture of excellence in safety, quality, and environmental stewardship throughout all project phases.
- Provide timely progress reports and updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
