Join FLINT Corporation as a Project Planner/Scheduler for an exciting project-based opportunity in Empress, Alberta, commencing in late June 2026 and concluding in October 2026. This role involves overseeing substantial rigging, mechanical, and piping tasks, with an emphasis on critical lifts and pre-planning activities, primarily focusing on bolt-up piping with limited onsite welding. The position operates on a 12 & 2 rotation with 10-hour workdays, offering a daily Living Out Allowance (LOA) of $165.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Site Managers and project teams to create, track, and evaluate project schedules, ensuring timely project completion.
- Manage external services, oversee administrative duties, and ensure all project expenditures are sanctioned by the Project Manager while upholding a master project schedule.
- Provide mentorship to junior schedulers/planners, generate precise and timely project reports, and pinpoint areas needing attention to propose viable solutions.
- Advocate for enhancements to the planning and scheduling processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Lead the initiation phases of projects, assess contractor schedules for feasibility, and supervise effective planning, construction, and project turnover.
