Manage the procurement process and related workflows to ensure timely purchasing of materials while maintaining accurate management tools.
Assess and select suppliers to guarantee optimal quality and cost efficiency, fostering strong relationships to facilitate negotiations.
Solicit competitive quotes from approved suppliers and evaluate them for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Generate purchase orders based on supplier quotes, confirming pricing, quantities, and terms while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Identify and implement improvements to processes that enhance efficiency, lower costs, and optimize departmental performance through data analysis and continuous improvement strategies.
Receive and process vendor invoices by matching them with purchase orders, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Communicate with vendors to keep updated on lead times for all processed orders.
