Your Role
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will assist the purchasing team with a variety of administrative tasks, playing a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our procurement processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting inventory checks, preparing price comparisons, and drafting and monitoring purchasing contracts. You will also communicate with suppliers and hotel staff, ensuring that information is accurately processed within our systems. No two days will be the same, as you will also handle various ad hoc tasks that will call upon your organizational skills.

Your Team
You will work within Valk Inkoop, a small and close-knit team where everyone is responsible for their own tasks. Given the compact nature of the team, effective collaboration and communication are essential. Colleagues support each other as needed and actively contribute ideas for improving processes and workflows. The team fosters an informal and engaging atmosphere where teamwork is always prioritized.
About the Organization
Joining Van der Valk means working at some of the most hospitable hotels in the Netherlands. We strive to bring smiles to our guests' faces!
You will be part of Valk Inkoop, based in Urmond, where we manage the procurement for over 70 Van der Valk hotels. Products are procured and stored in our distribution center in Eindhoven before being distributed to the hotels. We also negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for our hotels. Due to the rapid growth of our organization, we are looking to strengthen our team.
