Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the efficient functioning of the Purchasing Department, ensuring adherence to the highest standards in procurement and inventory management.
Source, negotiate, and acquire goods and services that meet hotel quality standards and budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with department heads to anticipate needs, plan purchases, and guarantee the timely availability of materials.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing to secure the best value while upholding quality and reliability.
Monitor stock levels, consumption trends, and inventory turnover to reduce waste and optimize cost efficiency.
Create and execute purchasing strategies that align with hotel goals, sustainability initiatives, and brand standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and all applicable legal and audit regulations.
Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, reporting on expenditures, savings, and supplier performance metrics.
Continuously evaluate market trends and supplier performance to identify areas for enhancement and innovation.
