About the Role
As a Qualitative Analyst at SportyBet, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, user engagement, and commercial success in the Mexican market. Your primary responsibility will be to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, motivations, and pain points. You will lead qualitative research initiatives, including customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and transform these insights into actionable recommendations for our Product Manager.
Acting as the voice of the customer, you will ensure that our product decisions and roadmap priorities are firmly based on real user insights, especially within the context of a fast-paced and regulated market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular qualitative research with customers, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Design and execute structured research plans to explore user needs across various stages: acquisition, onboarding, betting, payments, and retention.
- Synthesize qualitative findings into coherent themes, insights, and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to inform product discovery, prioritize roadmap items, and assess trade-offs.
- Validate product hypotheses and concepts through customer feedback and preliminary testing.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Mexican user behavior, sports culture, language, and local context.
- Work alongside data, design, and customer support teams to integrate qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Communicate findings through clear readouts, reports, and presentations that drive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance of all research activities with local regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Residing in Mexico.
- Fluent in Spanish with strong English communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in qualitative research, user research, or related fields.
- Experience in conducting customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing for digital products.
- Proven ability to distill complex feedback into actionable insights.
- Comfortable collaborating with Product Managers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in sportsbook, gaming, fintech, or consumer digital products is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
- Organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
