We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our team at McWane Ductile Ohio. This position offers an exciting opportunity for proactive systems thinkers with a passion for manufacturing quality and a desire to enhance their expertise in quality systems. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and develop skills in customer complaint management, internal audits, document control, and leading corrective actions through structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5-Why, fishbone analysis, and 8D/A3.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Complaints: Manage the Customer Complaint Log, lead investigations, and implement actions to reduce repeat complaints.
Corrective Action System: Initiate and oversee corrective actions, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness verification.
ISO 9001/QMS Support: Assist in daily ISO 9001 execution, maintain training records, and provide inputs for management reviews.
Internal Audit Program: Coordinate internal audits and track findings for systemic improvement.
Documentation Control: Aid in creating/updating SOPs and managing document control activities.
