Our Academy, an NZQA-registered Private Training Establishment (PTE), is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure our training programs maintain their credibility, compliance, and focus on positive learner outcomes.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Academy Manager, the Quality Assurance Lead will oversee the daily management of quality systems, compliance, and assurance within the Academy. You will be instrumental in fostering regulatory confidence, enhancing industry collaboration, and ensuring that learners receive equitable, high-quality education that truly adds value.
Your collaboration with internal teams, regulators, and industry partners will ensure that our programs consistently meet NZQA and broader regulatory standards—not just during reviews but as part of our routine operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the Academy operates as a compliant NZQA-registered PTE, implementing robust quality systems aligned with NZQA, TEC, WDC, MPI, and relevant legislation.
Oversee processes related to enrolment, assessment, moderation, reporting, and self-assessment while leading preparations for external audits and reviews.
Maintain training outcomes that align with industry and regulatory expectations through close collaboration with delivery teams and external stakeholders.
Act as a primary contact for regulators, industry bodies, and partners.
Support positive learner experiences, ensuring successful completions and adherence to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of Learners.
Promote consistent trainer and assessor capabilities while championing AsureQuality values and cultural commitments.
Enhance systems, processes, and documentation to drive continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency.
Facilitate financially sustainable PTE operations while contributing to a robust health, safety, and wellbeing culture.
