As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety throughout our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include diligently analyzing and testing products at various stages to confirm compliance with established quality benchmarks.
In this position, you will engage in continuous inspection of products, personnel, and equipment on the production floor, ensuring adherence to quality and food safety protocols. You will also be tasked with sampling finished products to verify compliance with customer specifications.
Key duties involve conducting metal detector checks and blade inspections, swiftly reporting any discrepancies or violations to the Quality Assurance Supervisor along with proposed solutions. Accurate completion of quality, food safety, and testing documentation is critical.
Collaborating with other departments, you will implement necessary procedural changes regarding raw materials and finished goods to swiftly address and rectify any non-compliance issues. Routine pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections will be part of your responsibilities.
Your role will also involve regular documentation related to Quality and Food Safety, Critical Control Points (CCP), and sanitation, aiming for zero food safety deviations. You will conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and sanitation audits as directed, ensuring documented corrective actions and follow-ups are executed.
Maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecards to foster continuous improvement will be an essential aspect of your position. A strong commitment to safety in all operational processes is fundamental.
