The Quality Control Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing routine chemical analyses and method validations of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. This role involves testing and validating developed methodologies using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Adapt existing official and published methods to align with current laboratory equipment.
Design and execute chemical and mechanical tests to enhance product quality.
Develop and modify standard operating procedures (SOPs) and methodologies to ensure product quality standards are met.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments including HPLC, GCMS, ICPMS, and FTIR.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment
This position is primarily in a laboratory setting, with potential assignments in warehouse or production floor environments.
All duties are performed in a smoke-free environment.
