Job Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Staff member at Avery Dennison, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that our products, processes, and systems adhere to stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Your primary focus will be on defect prevention through process enhancements, risk evaluations, and strategic quality planning. You will also ensure compliance through regular audits, testing, and ongoing monitoring.
This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deploy quality tools, investigate root causes of nonconformities, and spearhead corrective and preventive actions. By employing engineering principles, industry benchmarks, and continuous improvement methodologies, you will contribute to operational excellence, product reliability, and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize quality tools effectively: FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, 7 QC Tools (including Fishbone, Pareto, Histogram, etc.)
Conduct data analysis and problem-solving via Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Manage internal audits and ensure strict follow-up on findings.
Develop and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and quality data management.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office/Google Sheets for data analysis (pivot tables, etc.).
