Join Bosch as a Quality Management and Methods (QMM) Engineer, where you will be pivotal in ensuring that our semiconductor products for automotive applications adhere to the highest standards of quality and reliability. In this role, you will spearhead comprehensive change management processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply quality methodologies that meet the rigorous requirements of the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate Change Management initiatives among cross-functional technical teams, ensuring alignment with organizational processes and standards.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to facilitate coordinated changes across the Semiconductor Production Network.
- Obtain necessary training and certification to act as a PFMEA Moderator, including proficiency in APIS IQ.
- Design and implement Change Management training programs for relevant departments.
Additional Responsibilities
- Create and enforce quality control plans, procedures, and methodologies for semiconductor products in automotive applications.
- Assist with regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant automotive quality standards.
- Evaluate product and process data, conduct statistical analysis, and formulate cross-functional reaction/response plans (OCAP) when quality risks are detected.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform thorough root cause analyses and promote preventive measures to mitigate future quality concerns.
- Assess the effectiveness of quality controls, identify deficiencies, and suggest targeted process or system enhancements.
- Generate and sustain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and records in accordance with automotive quality system requirements.
- Educate staff on quality processes, best practices, and automotive regulatory standards.
- Support the design and development of new semiconductor products, ensuring that quality requirements are integrated from the outset.
- Stay informed on industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AEC-Q100) and apply them to semiconductor quality management.
