United Infrastructure is thrilled to expand our team with the addition of a skilled Quantity Surveyor, who will play a pivotal role in our ongoing success. In this role, you will oversee the commercial success of our projects while ensuring compliance with commercial administration procedures. The position is situated within our special projects division, focusing primarily on cladding remediation and fire safety projects for high-risk buildings throughout the North.
Your role will also involve fostering a collaborative environment with clients and effectively managing subcontractor and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Negotiate subcontract terms, manage payments, ensure compliance, report monthly using the CVR Process, coordinate changes, and assess financial impacts.
- Contract Administration: Monitor contract obligations, conduct site visits, report on performance, close contracts, resolve issues, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors.
- Budget Management: Work with project teams on budget evaluations, capture cost variances, and prepare for client audits.
- Reporting and Documentation: Generate monthly Cost Value Reconciliation, Earned Value Analysis, validate payments, maintain change registers, and provide commercial insights for reporting.
