What You'll Work On
During this internship, you will engage in original scientific research aimed at advancing Sygaldry’s vision of multimodal quantum computing. Your projects may encompass:
Setting up and testing experimental hardware.
Designing optical, mechanical, and/or electronic subsystems.
Automating experimental control systems and data collection using Python.
Characterizing system performance and analyzing experimental data.
Contributing to the scientific community in experimental quantum physics.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical), Computer Science (especially with an AI/ML focus), or a related technical field.
Demonstrated academic excellence in core subjects relevant to quantum mechanics, optics, electronics, or scientific computing.
Required Skills & Attributes
Passion for working in a research lab environment and eagerness to learn about quantum technologies.
