As a Quick Lube Service Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional vehicle maintenance services. Your primary responsibilities will include performing fluid checks, changing oil, inspecting belts and filters, and ensuring all vehicle systems are operating optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests to verify the integrity and functionality of vehicle systems
- Diagnose and isolate issues in vehicle systems or components
- Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance
- Ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicles while maintaining high efficiency
- Proactively repair or replace worn components to prevent breakdowns
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools effectively in service tasks
Qualifications:
- Quick problem identification skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Proficient in reading, computer use, and basic mathematics
- Willingness to learn new technologies and repair methods
- Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic tools
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- At least 1 year of experience in an automotive service department
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- A friendly and positive attitude
