Key ResponsibilitiesLead the definition of physics-based ionizing radiation requirements, along with modeling and simulation, leveraging your in-depth understanding of radiation effects.Develop and manage radiation effects analysis and mitigation strategies across products, addressing environments from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to deep space.Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for circuits, subsystems, and systems concerning radiation effects.Design and implement comprehensive radiation test campaigns, managing requirements flow-down and interfacing with external testing laboratories.Create internal tools, databases, and automated testing frameworks to systematically document and provide access to radiation effects and mitigations.Represent radiation engineering in design reviews, trade studies, and program milestones.Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, DSP, software, and testing engineers to architect reliable designs and validate systems through rigorous testing.
