Position Overview:
The Regional Dental Director (RDD) acts as the clinical leader and strategic advisor for all dental practices in the designated region. Collaborating closely with the Operations team, the RDD ensures the provision of high-quality, evidence-based patient care while fostering a culture of clinical excellence. This role also involves supporting provider engagement and contributing to the growth and success of our Dental Support Organization (DSO). Candidates must possess a blend of clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and business acumen. Additionally, the RDD will provide clinical coverage across various offices in the region as needed, and play a pivotal role in training, mentoring, and developing new dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Quality Assurance
Cultivate a culture of clinical excellence that aligns with DSO standards and core values.
Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and support to dentists within the region.
Lead initiatives focused on quality improvement, peer reviews, and clinical audits.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and board regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, etc.).
Provider Management & Development
Engage in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes for dental providers.
Facilitate ongoing professional development and mentoring for dental staff.
