About the job
Join our dynamic team at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician and play a vital role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilize proven, evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek passionate individuals who are committed to empowering children with autism to achieve their fullest potential. Your patience, compassion, and collaborative spirit will be essential in fostering a supportive environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed to succeed in this role, even if you're new to the field. As children can exhibit unpredictable behavior, physical stamina is necessary—expect to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Every day you spend with us will end with the knowledge that your efforts have made a significant impact on a child's life and their family. If you're ready to join a dedicated team that is committed to making a positive difference, apply now to embark on your journey as a Behavior Technician!
