Are you eager to start your career in a role that allows you to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and experience the profound impact you can have.
In this role, you will work directly with clients receiving ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your responsibilities will include helping clients enhance their communication, social, and daily living skills. BASS employs a holistic approach to ABA therapy, requiring you to engage with children both in our centers and within the broader community. As an RBT at BASS, you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBAs, where your contributions are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete a 40-hour RBT training course (paid) and successfully pass the BACB RBT exam within 30 days of employment if not already certified.
- Complete CPR training (paid) within 30 days of hire.
- Provide 1:1 support to BASS clients receiving ABA therapy.
- Engage in electronic data collection related to programming developed by the BCBA.
- Document daily notes following each session and upload them into relevant databases.
- Maintain open communication with the BCBA regarding client progress.
- Deliver ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings as directed by the BCBA team.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work at multiple locations throughout the workday.
