About the job
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism? Join us at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and help empower children to reach their fullest potential.
As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children on a one-on-one basis, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will involve utilizing research-backed techniques to teach essential skills in communication, social interactions, and daily living, while also minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek individuals who are not only dedicated but also patient, compassionate, and thrive in collaborative environments. Comprehensive training will be provided, so prior experience is not required. However, the ability to adapt to the unpredictable nature of working with children and to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds is essential.
Every day, you will leave knowing you have made a real impact on a child's life and their family. Join our committed team at Centria Autism and embark on a rewarding journey as a Behavior Technician!
