About the job
Join our dynamic team at Centria Autism as a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism. In this fulfilling role, you will provide individualized support and implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your primary responsibility will be to work one-on-one with children, utilizing evidence-based strategies to enhance their communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors. This is a hands-on position that requires both physical and emotional resilience.
We are seeking candidates who are not only compassionate and patient but also thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be offered to equip you with the necessary skills to succeed, even if you are new to this field. Be prepared for an active workday that involves standing, walking, and occasionally lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing that your efforts have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey as a Behavior Technician, we encourage you to apply today!
