SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic Rehabilitation Services Manager to lead the operations and financial success of our dedicated Resurgens Rehabilitation facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and physical therapy assistants deliver exceptional quality care and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CLINICIAN:
- Act as a clinician and fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the clinical job description.
MANAGERIAL:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards within the clinic.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor rehabilitation staff, providing constructive feedback and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Manage clinic staffing levels and adjust as necessary based on patient volume and physician feedback.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new staff members under the guidance of the Director.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among rehabilitation employees.
- Organize and lead departmental meetings, participating in interdepartmental gatherings as needed.
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering, ensuring accurate coding and submission of invoices to accounts payable.
- Address staff concerns regarding patient feedback, including compliments and complaints.
- Maintain effective communication with Physicians, the Regional Director, Site Manager, MRI, and other site-specific managers.
- Ensure a safe and compliant workplace following all Resurgens safety policies and OSHA regulations, including annual fire drills and employee training.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Analyze financial data for the clinic and implement necessary adjustments to promote fiscal responsibility, with Director support as required.
- Oversee daily payment processes and petty cash management to ensure integrity.
- Collaborate with Rehab PAR to maximize clinic reimbursement.
- Maintain internal controls and oversee the revenue cycle process for effective revenue generation.
- Conduct annual chart audits per QA Committee guidelines, addressing coding and documentation deficiencies with clinicians.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate scheduling for contract therapists to cover for regular staff as needed.
- Provide orientation and training for new Rehab Clinicians on site-specific policies, including introductions to Physicians.
