At Aston Forrest Recruitment, we specialize in connecting talented Relief Chefs with a diverse array of hospitality establishments including hotels, restaurants, resorts, and event caterers in Dundee, St. Andrews, and the surrounding regions.
About the Role:
We are actively seeking skilled Relief Chefs for various assignments across Fife and Angus, with opportunities ranging from one-off shifts to long-term contracts spanning up to twelve months. Typical engagements last between 2 to 8 weeks.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting with various kitchen operations, from section work to managing entire kitchen teams, depending on your expertise and client requirements.
- Cooking in a variety of environments, from intimate teams to large brigades with over 25 chefs.
- Preparing dishes that meet AA Rosette or Michelin standards, as well as more straightforward menus.
- Running kitchen sections during service, contributing to preparation for à la carte, TDH, and banquet menus, along with additional kitchen responsibilities.
- Upholding health and hygiene standards in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
