We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to contribute to our expansion efforts. This position emphasizes proactive outreach and cold calling, connecting with potential clients to introduce Sangoma's innovative communication solutions and identify qualified sales leads.
As a key representative of Sangoma, you will cultivate initial relationships, assess interest, and collaborate with Account Managers to build a pipeline for our Unified Communications offerings.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage in high-volume outbound outreach through cold calling to both new and existing leads.
- Make 60–80 outbound call attempts daily to targeted accounts and lead lists.
- Communicate Sangoma’s solutions, resources, and services effectively to prospects.
- Assess leads by identifying business needs, key decision-makers, timelines, and use cases.
- Arrange 8–12 qualified meetings or discovery calls monthly for the sales team.
- Develop and identify pipeline opportunities that meet established qualification criteria.
- Direct qualified leads to Account Managers for follow-up and closure.
- Assist prospects and customers with navigating Sangoma’s e-commerce platform as needed.
- Address fundamental sales inquiries related to renewals, product features, and pricing.
- Gather and convey prospect feedback to enhance sales, marketing, and product initiatives.
- Maintain precise records of activities, notes, and opportunities within Salesforce.
- Stay updated on Sangoma’s product offerings and advancements in Unified Communications, UCaaS, and VoIP technologies.
Performance Metrics:
- Daily outbound activities (calls, emails, and follow-ups).
- Monthly scheduled meetings or discovery calls.
- Number of qualified opportunities generated.
- Value of the pipeline influenced or created.
- Conversion rates from outreach to qualified meetings.
- Accuracy of CRM data and consistency of activity logs.
