The Embedded ROI Processor plays a crucial role within the EMR Remote team. You will be responsible for efficiently processing Release of Information (ROI) requests, ensuring the timely and accurate handling of medical record requests. This role involves verifying and analyzing data to facilitate the effective retrieval of medical charts in alignment with Ciox Health's core business operations. Adherence to patient privacy rights is paramount, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access medical information and that all information releases comply with requests, authorizations, company policies, and HIPAA regulations.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Entering accurate data as assigned by your team lead.
- Processing electronic medical records remotely using various EMR systems as directed.
- Working with minimal supervision while adapting to changing priorities.
- Reporting any technical issues immediately as they arise.
- Meeting required metrics for your role, including Charts Per Hour (CPH) and attendance.
- Actively participating in all assigned training sessions.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality to protect patients' rights and comply with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Following all documentation and written instructions to ensure compliance and accurate job completion.
- Reporting any observed security breaches or unsafe behaviors to appropriate personnel.
- Supporting a quality-focused service environment.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and responding to information requests in a timely manner.
- Adhering to all company policies.
