Qualifications
Responsibilities:Leverage extensive legal expertise in immigration law and EOIR procedures to make informed decisions and guarantee precise filings.Foster client relationships with a strong service orientation, ensuring clear communication and support throughout the immigration journey.Conduct thorough case reviews, analyses, and preparations for immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, especially those related to EOIR proceedings.Remain up-to-date with EOIR procedural requirements, including those for detained and removal defense petitions.Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members to ensure comprehensive case preparation and favorable outcomes.Utilize case management and billing systems to monitor case progression, manage deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.Ensure compliance with all EOIR filing requirements and deadlines, guiding clients through the immigration court process.Requirements:A minimum of two years' experience in immigration law, particularly with EOIR cases, including removal defense and other court proceedings.Solid understanding of immigration laws, including EOIR procedures, with the ability to stay abreast of legal changes.Exceptional case management skills, adept at handling multiple cases, tracking deadlines, and maintaining organized documentation.Client-centric approach with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to assist clients effectively.Ability to work collaboratively within a growing legal team while managing individual case responsibilities and deadlines.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
