As the Rental Branch Supervisor, you will play an essential role in delivering our mission at the local level. This position involves overseeing high-quality rental operations, ensuring seamless service coordination, and fostering a customer-centric experience. Acting as the on-site leader, you will drive operational excellence, enhance team performance, and enrich the overall customer journey, bridging the gap between global standards and local execution.
The Role
In your capacity as the Rental Branch Supervisor, you will hold comprehensive responsibility for the daily operations and performance of the city depot. This role is predominantly hands-on (60–70%) while also encompassing managerial and financial oversight.
You will lead the local team, manage depot costs, ensure efficient fleet turnaround, and continuously drive operational improvements. Your accountability extends beyond execution to achieving tangible results. Reporting directly to the District Manager, your goal is to deliver a high-performing, cost-efficient, and customer-focused operation daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete performance of the city depot in both Rental and Servicing.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the local operational team, including shift and task planning and performance feedback.
- Establish a positive culture and exemplify leadership by setting a strong example.
- Monitor daily KPIs and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assess and enhance vehicle availability, taking initiative to perform repairs as necessary.
- Manage depot cost performance, including consumables and rework prevention, while implementing disciplined cost control practices.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointments.
Practical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move light-to-moderate items (10–15 kg) and stand, walk, and navigate the depot for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during peak periods to support urgent operational needs.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong hands-on operational capability, demonstrating the ability to step in and assist wherever needed.
