The Rental Service Agent is a pivotal role that encompasses two main functions:
- Championing customer experience for rentals.
- Acting as a sales specialist for RV demonstrations and conversions.
This position is essential for ensuring that customers leave with a smile, whether they are commencing a rental adventure or making a future RV purchase.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent manages all customer-facing rental operations and conducts professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that merges service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. In both rentals and sales, this position guarantees that every vehicle, interaction, and customer moment embodies Indie Campers’ exceptional standards.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Customer Service & Operations: Oversee check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide continuous rental support. Address service recovery and emergencies with compassion.
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and deliver RV demonstrations, highlighting features, specifications, and customer-specific needs. Ensure seamless handovers and proper documentation.
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Record leads, demonstrations, and follow-ups in CRM. Transform rental customers into sales prospects, and assist the RV Sales District and City Lead in achieving targets.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Keep abreast of Indie Campers RV models and deliver basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Diagnose issues and escalate as necessary.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must have: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive settings.
- Must have: Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
- Must have: Ability to comprehend and explain technical RV/vehicle systems.
- Must have: Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
