Join Life Edit Therapeutics as a Research Intern in our Translational Biology department! We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated intern with a strong understanding of genome editing technologies and proficiency in mammalian cell culture. You will be an integral part of our collaborative team, dedicated to enhancing our RNA-guided editing systems aimed at tackling genetic diseases. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and characterization of groundbreaking gene editing systems that hold the potential to transform patient care.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating and optimizing gene editing systems in mammalian cells to identify the most effective platforms for therapeutic applications.
- Maintaining cultures of various mammalian cell lines.
- Conducting mammalian transfections and cell-based assays to assess the capabilities of Life Edit's technologies.
- Designing and executing scientific experiments.
- Documenting experimental methodologies, tool development processes, and protocols.
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot experimental challenges.
