Research Pharmacy Technician Position in Peoria, AZ

Key Responsibilities:Receive and verify the accuracy and authenticity of investigational product prescriptions. Review and document patient information alongside their medications, ensuring compliance with protocol guidelines. Maintain pharmacy inventory by stocking and organizing supplies. Provide clear instructions to patients on the proper use of their medications. Assist the pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Ensure adherence to infection-control protocols and policies to protect staff and patients. Dispense confirmed medications to patients. Field incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries. Maintain a clean and compliant pharmacy environment. Keep accurate accountability logs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Certification as a Pharmacy Technician. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy tech role, preferably in a private practice, hospital, or pharmacy setting. Familiarity with IRB approved protocols. Understanding of good clinical practices (GCP) and regulatory compliance. Ability to comply with institutional policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Willingness to work weekends as needed.
