The Reservations Manager is pivotal in leading the reservations team to surpass our guests’ expectations through meticulous booking oversight and strategic inventory management. This role is centered on maximizing hotel revenue by managing the complete lifecycle of FIT, Group, and Event bookings, while ensuring flawless integration between Opera Cloud and TARS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct the daily activities of the reservations staff to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures under the guidance of the Revenue & Reservations Manager.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure meticulous data integrity within Opera Cloud and TARS, accurately capturing all reservations, market codes, and guest profiles for the Revenue Manager's analysis.
- Event Management: Take charge of the entire administrative process for Groups and Events, including managing rooming lists, monitoring blocks, and accommodating special requests.
- Task Management: Oversee the daily departmental workflow by delegating tasks to team members and reviewing daily bookings and arrival reports for precision.
- Rate Management: Responsible for the accurate entry of Company, Travel Agent, and FIT rates into the system, while maintaining well-organized correspondence files.
- Quality Monitoring & Training: Assess the team's telephone etiquette and performance daily, providing on-the-job training to uphold luxury service standards.
- Inventory Alerts: Proactively notify the Revenue & Reservations Manager of any changes in hotel availability to facilitate prompt adjustments to pricing or reservations.
- Guest Recognition: Ensure exceptional service for returning guests, VIPs, and long-stay guests as recognized by management.
- Administrative Management: Supervise staff schedules and maintain a professional, organized, and efficient work environment at all times.
