Our Northeast Division, known for its award-winning projects, is a vibrant environment where career development, training, and mentorship thrive. We are currently seeking a Resident Project Representative to support our Water/Wastewater practice in the Northeast, primarily in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. While this role allows for remote work, candidates must reside within driving distance of the project sites.
Your Responsibilities as a Resident Project Representative:
- Monitor and report on the construction of municipal water and wastewater projects, including horizontal construction, new treatment plant construction, and rehabilitation efforts.
- Ensure contractor compliance with standards, specifications, design drawings, and permits.
- Review contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation, providing necessary feedback and coordination.
- Observe construction activities to ensure adherence to the contract and site procedures, track activities for payment reviews, and prepare progress reports.
- Verify that construction complies with current approved standards and specifications.
- Document construction progress with observations and photographs.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or deficiencies.
- Maintain a daily field log of events.
- Track and quantify daily construction items.
- Monitor project schedules.
- Coordinate and schedule subconsultants as required.
