Join our outstanding team as a Residential Support Worker in Northampton! At Greaves West & Ayre, we operate two Ofsted-registered children's homes, both rated as 'OUTSTANDING', providing exceptional therapeutic care for children aged 7 to 18. Additionally, we manage a CQC-registered home that supports young people aged 16 and above, fostering independent living skills. Our dedicated staff make a significant impact on the lives of 'looked after' children, achieving remarkable outcomes.
Your role as a Residential Support Worker will involve providing direct care and support to children and young people residing in our homes. You will promote participation in engaging activities, ensuring that each child has opportunities to make choices. Effective communication with managers, professionals, families, and other agencies is crucial as you assist in the overall management of the homes. Your responsibilities will also include general administrative tasks to support the homes' operations.
This position entails working a shift pattern of 39 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with potential sleep-in duties. You may also need to travel to our other local sites and participate in holiday activities with the children.
