YOUR MISSION
As the Retail Manager – Non-Food, you will take charge of scaling the Retail vertical in Romania, one of Glovo’s most vibrant growth engines. This role encompasses a diverse range of non-food sectors including pharmacies, pet shops, floral services, electronics, and specialty retail.
Your responsibilities will span strategy, growth, and execution, blending strong commercial acumen with effective people leadership.

You will lead a team of Account Managers while actively engaging with key partners, driving strategic deals, and steering performance.
THE JOURNEY
- Own the end-to-end strategy and key P&L drivers for the Retail vertical in Romania, ensuring sustainable growth and robust unit economics.
- Lead, develop, and scale a team of Account Managers, providing clear direction, impactful coaching, and fostering high performance.
- Drive the acquisition and negotiation of top-tier retail partners, personally leading complex or significant deals when necessary.
- Define and execute account strategies for key partners, balancing commercial growth, operational excellence, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Global Q-Commerce teams to launch scalable initiatives that enhance Retail growth on Glovo.
- Utilize data to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, and make informed decisions, transforming insights into actionable strategies.
- Act as a prominent ambassador for Glovo’s values and culture, both internally and externally.
