Job Summary:
The Retail Team Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the management team by exemplifying exceptional selling techniques, providing floor leadership, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Essential Functions:
- Assist the Store Manager and Operations Manager with daily operations, employee activities, and other tasks as required.
- Support business operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Help process and finalize weekly time and attendance records.
- Engage in sales and stock duties, including receiving and stocking merchandise on the sales floor.
- Maintain and replenish both the sales floor and back stock efficiently.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any customer-related issues.
- Ensure proper merchandise processing and visual presentation displays.
- Oversee and monitor loss prevention strategies to protect company assets.
- Assist in maintaining compliance standards for shrink control alongside the Store Manager.
- Assist in the training and development of new sales associates.
- Perform banking tasks as required.
- Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
