Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all facets of retention testing: manage testing sprints of 3-6 weeks, prioritize experiments, and drive execution speed.Develop, implement, and assess lifecycle strategies for both one-time purchasers and active subscribers.Design and execute offer and messaging tests across email, SMS, and on-site channels.Create and refine subscription flows, including take-rate optimization, benefit framing, and gifting strategies.Formulate onboarding processes for new customers and subscribers to maximize LTV.Develop and launch customer surveys to enhance recovery flows and mitigate churn for at-risk accounts.Conduct comprehensive cohort data analysis (LTV, payback period, average order value, repeat purchase rate, growth) and provide actionable insights.Coordinate the implementation of successful experiments with both internal and external teams.Utilize speed, analytical rigor, and data-driven insights to address retention challenges, aiming for rapid payback and revenue retention.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in retention or lifecycle marketing for DTC or CPG subscription brands.Proven expertise with subscription platforms; deep knowledge of Stay AI, Recharge, or SKIO (experience with at least one is mandatory; familiarity with more is advantageous).Demonstrated success in executing structured retention experiments across diverse lifecycle touchpoints.Advanced skills in cohort analysis, LTV, payback period, and churn metrics.Strong copywriting and message testing abilities for digital marketing campaigns.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.Experience in cross-functional collaboration with customer experience, product, design, and development teams.High proficiency in Google Sheets for reporting, data analysis, and creating retention dashboards.Expertise in email and SMS campaign strategy and platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, etc.).
