Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Retirement Benefits Specialist to support our Retirement Team. This role includes providing administrative assistance for client-sponsored retirement plans, including our 401(k) Multiple Employer Plans (MEP) and Pooled Employer Plans (PEP). You will handle day-to-day operations, ensure plan compliance, assist clients and participants, manage payroll adjustments related to retirement, and set up new plans. Collaborating directly with retirement vendors, you will help resolve issues and enhance plan processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer retirement plans by managing contribution files, troubleshooting errors, navigating retirement provider websites, and processing payments.
Oversee daily administration of Vensure MEPs and PEPs, including the approval of distributions, participant loans, enrolling new members, and correcting contribution discrepancies.
Provide expert guidance on 401(k) administration to both internal and external stakeholders.
Create and adhere to process documentation.
Coordinate with retirement vendors for due diligence and issue resolution.
Collaborate with Payroll, Client Relations, and Benefits departments to ensure timely administration of retirement plans.
Conduct year-end compliance testing and reporting for various retirement plans.
Support the annual Form 5500 filing and audits.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities
