Location: 450 Ingenuity Ave, Sparks, NV 89441
Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Position Overview: As a Returns Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing customer returns and meticulously logging all returned and delivered items. This role requires close collaboration with the Customer Care Center, Credit department, UPS, and occasionally customers to ensure that returns are processed accurately and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities:
- Record all returned and delivered items, investigating returns lacking Return Authorization Numbers (RA#) when necessary.
- Handle all return documentation following the completion of item returns.
- Maintain communication with the Customer Care Center regarding returned orders, and liaise with customers and UPS as needed.
- Ensure returned products are correctly matched with their respective bin locations, facilitating the reshipping of orders and restocking to lo-bay/hi-bay locations.
- Invoice all restocked credit memos and modify returns paperwork as required.
- Notify SanMar employees of packages addressed to them and deliver daily priority packages and mail throughout the facility promptly.
- Create and print credit memos and freight invoices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant warehouse experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with account executives, customers, and team members.
- Demonstrated capacity to follow directions and adapt priorities as business needs evolve; willingness to support or rotate to other production functions as necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work area in accordance with SanMar’s safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Welcoming attitude towards new employees, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Availability for essential days or overtime as required.
What We Offer:
Annual discretionary bonus eligibility of up to 5% of base salary.
