The Opportunity
Cala Health is looking for a dedicated Revenue Cycle Specialist to become part of our expanding team. This role is essential as you will represent our organization professionally. We are on the hunt for a proactive and motivated specialist to work remotely. In this position, you will be tasked with reviewing medical documentation for necessity and managing the submission of such documentation. You will report directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary range between $65,000 - $105,000. Furthermore, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that aligns with our overall compensation philosophy.
Please note, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as Cala does not sponsor work visas.
A Day in the Life
- Promptly respond to phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries from clients, insurers, and patients with professionalism and expertise.
- Document all communications efficiently.
- Ensure patient documentation is accurate and meets qualification standards.
- Approve and generate sales orders for shipments, verifying accuracy.
- Manage shipments by sending sales orders when ready for delivery.
- Review sales orders for accuracy post-shipment; create claims and/or invoices by confirming sales orders.
- Bill claims and/or invoices electronically.
